Biothane is a coated webbing that is similar to leather. While it is comparable to leather, it does have some added benefits; it is waterproof, easy to clean, stink-proof and should not fade over time (unless exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time). It is the perfect material for pets that love to get dirty.

To give you an idea of how to select the right size for you I am going to give you some details below: I am 5'9 and my measurement across body is a total of 58 inches. Depending on how much leash I would want left for my dog would determine the length of leash I would want. Each leash has a snap hook on both ends - the total length of the leash (hook to hook) is about 8 inches longer than the advertised length of the leash (to account for a standard leash handle). For me, if I would like 3-4 feet extra to have for my dog I would take the total leash length, I'll use 8ft, about 104 inches and subtract my measurement from above (58in) and that would leave me with a leash just shy of 4 feet and that works well for my Labrador who is about 22 inches tall at her shoulders. If you are wearing the leash across your body the excess leash will start around your hip area - so from my hip I would have about 4 feet of leash for my dog. The same principles apply if you want to wear around your hips (mine are 38") the 8ft leash would give me a leash that is about 5.5ft. Since our products are custom designed, we generally do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order, such as a defect or incorrect item, please contact us, and we will make it right. However, if you accidentally ordered the wrong size we do have a collar rework listing. **Since these items are completely custom to those ordering, once the proof is approved, all sales are FINAL** If you order a collar from our Standard Collection, we will accept returns or exchanges.

I have a processing time of 1-3 weeks, but the majority of my orders ship within 2 weeks from the order date (this may vary slightly depending on the quantity of orders at hand).
